Editorial Policy

Our editorial standard is simple: explain the Canadian menu clearly and distinguish verified facts from estimates.

Sources and country matching

We prioritize official Canadian product pages, promotion terms and restaurant listings. American menu information is not treated as Canadian information without confirmation.

Third-party menu websites can identify questions worth investigating. They are not sufficient evidence for a current price, offer or ingredient claim.

Prices and nutrition

Prices are labelled as estimates unless a dated restaurant-specific check supports them. A quoted sample does not establish a nationwide price.

Calories describe the stated item and portion. We distinguish individual products from combos and identify size ranges. Customized nutrition should be checked through the official menu.

We do not describe an item as allergy-safe merely because an ingredient can be removed.

Promotions and updates

Where available, offer entries include their expiry, eligibility and ordering restrictions. An expired promotion should not be labelled active.

The review date records when a page’s cited information was checked. It does not promise that every restaurant has the same menu or price.

Writing and independence

Our comparisons should help readers make a concrete choice. We avoid fabricated first-hand experiences, unsupported popularity claims and copied competitor descriptions. Research and writing tools may assist preparation; their output still requires factual checking.

Advertising, if displayed, is separate from editorial information. An advertisement does not mean we endorse the advertised product or its claims.
